May 10, 2024 Notebaert earns career win #300 in Skyline playoffs Senior Tyler Reistetter tossed eight innings and recorded a go-ahead RBI double in the seventh as second-seeded U.S. Merchant Marine Academy overcame an early deficit to defeat #6-seed Manhattanville, 8-4, on Friday on Day 1 of the Skyline Championships.
April 17, 2024 Givhans, Reistetter, Sill honored with weekly NCBWA honors Home runs and going the extra mile for a team on the mound caught the attention of the NCBWA NCAA Div. III Weekly Awards Committee, which announced its honors for games played April 8-14 on Wednesday.
March 26, 2023 New York teams win shortened games A long time coach said, "We never had nine innings of pitching so put thank goodness for the mercy rule on my tombstone." In several New York contests, Cortland and Merchant Marine took advantage of the rule to win shortened conference games on Sunday.
May 4, 2022 USMMA, CMSV advance in Skyline play-in games Mount Saint Vincent and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy came up with victories on Wednesday to propel them into the next round of the 2022 Skyline Conference Baseball Championship on Wednesday.
April 13, 2022 Sevens wild for Merchant Marine, Bethany Lutheran USMMA used seven pitchers to shutout John Jay 7-0 on Wednesday. Joining the shutout parade was Bethany Lutheran. They only needed four pitchers for their 7-0 shutout.
March 23, 2022 Mariners combine on no-hitter Five USMMA Mariners combined for a no-hitter over FDU-Florham, winning 9-1. Michael Monkevich, Billy Todd, Grant Corb, Blake Jennings and Kole Register combined for the no-no.
